About me: I'm Meredith Lowe, Outreach Specialist in Continuing Education Services at UW-Madison's School of Library and Information Studies. Among other things, I am involved in continuing education for archivists (one of our big events is the Archives Leadership Institute).
I graduated from UW-Madison in August 2008 with my MA in Library Studies, concentrating in Archives and Records Administration. My archives-related employment ventures have been as an archives assistant at Augustana College (IL), the Visiting Archivist at Rollins College (FL), and as a processing assistant at the Wisconsin Historical Society.
I derive an absurd amount of joy from finding awesome-looking archives jobs, so you get to reap the benefits. Happy day! I'm often at the annual SAA and MAC conferences, so drop me a line should you ever want to meet "that person who posts all those jobs on that one blog."
I would also like to remind everyone that this blog absolutely cannot cover ALL the jobs posted all over the internet, so this is of course NOT the be-all, end-all of archivist job-hunting resources.
I am a contributor at You Ought to be Ashamed, and I tweet over at @meredithclowe, which shouldn't be confused with the twitter feed for this blog at @archivesgig.
